The other day I was with this customer (guy) and I was delivering some radios for his company, and he asked me kinda being friendly, if I had customers like them ( I giess if they bothered too much) and I said "Huh, You're Unique", and he started laughing like hell, and I don't know why, I guess he found funny, but I didn't mean it that way. I guess he thought I was joking, but his laugh was so loud!Well I guess if he thought I was funny it's fine, but I'm still wondering why????

I need to file bankruptcy with my credit card company due to overwhelming bills. I am on social secuity disability. That is my only source of income. I have no savings, or anything of value. I was told that I really do not need to go through the formality of filing bankruptcy seeing as the only source of income I have is social security disability, I am classified as judgement proof. I was told by a friend that all I have to do is write a letter to my credit card company explaining these details, plus proof of my income and they will cease and desist. Is this true? hi all..i had a team member earlier and we work for same company..but in different offices..she is younger to me..we used to chat frequently and since she should not misunderstand me..i told her that "i am not in love with her" and it created few problems..then issues got sorted out. she is talking to me as usual..via chat/sms/email. At risk of sounding cliche... i like this girl, but aren't too good at reading people. She seems to like my company, and if very friendly towards each other. My credit score according to freecreditreport.com is 740. I have no delinquencies or late payments and 2 years worth of credit card use. One of my two credit cards is 2 months old the other is 2 years old. My income is also over $40000/yr in a job I have had for 8 months and I have a $400/month mortgage with no late payments on that either. Discover card company rejected me for a platinum card (I am seeking future rental-car collision insurance protection from a credit card which is why I need a platinum card). Is there any type of platinum card I would be eligible for with my statistics and/or what could I do to improve my credit rating so as to obtain a leading platinum card such as Discover?

I've heard lots of horror stories and I have also heard lots of good things from this company. I have a friend who order from them and his PC works fine. I can't build my own so that's not an option. But I wish I knew what actually the deal was with them. If they are good or bad. I don't feel like drop 2,000 on a system and it not working or not getting what I ordered for. Share your thoughts please. I plan on not building my own, I just want to make sure that I the thing actually works and I won't have a hassle returning it. I don't trust myself to build one.

I currently work for a company which provides me the option to enroll family in the health insurance plan. This company is currently being bought by another company, and they are telling me that there is no coverage for dependents under the plan, so I will have to pay 1k per month instead of 400 a month to cover my 2 dependents, Is this legal? Annual evaluations are coming up at my job and this year I'm REALLY ready to walk out the door if i dont get a raise. I'm just tired of working my *** off and not being acknowledged. i 'm probably THE most knowledgeable, experienced and productive person in my dept., yet I make pretty much the SAME as everyone else ( i think). I like the company i currently work in but I KNOW ,with my qualifications, i can make more somewhere else. So this year, I just want to be walk into my boss' office and tell him " Boss, either you give me a decent raise this year, or i'm out of here! i can make more money somewhere else. " I thought this might be the most EFFECTIVE way of getting a raise, because my boss is very stingy and is clueless as to how much harder and better I work than anyone else in my dept. has anyone ever THREATENED to leave as a means to getting a raise at their job? HOW DID IT WORK OUT for you? please share with me YOUR experience and give some advice. thank you

just moved into place to rent a month ago. many violations found on heating system . healthy hamster before moving in and now my hamster is dead. was tired for 2 days and weak and at the end gasping for air. lanlord already fined for heating violations along with many other propane problems. did carbon monoxide kill my hamster like propane company said probably did being she was living in room with me right next to heating system not ventilating outside but inside?

A friend of mine has her associates degree and is working on her Bachelors but not completed yet. She bought a degree and transcripts from an online degree mill and is trying to get a job now as a pharmaceutical rep. She has sales experience and is very capable of doing the job but they require the 4 yr. degree. Do they actually check with the schools or just want copies of the degree and transcripts? Its a shame she has to lie but desperately needs to start working and making a decent amount of money due to certain circumstances or she wont ever be able to actually finish her degree. Botom line is, how thoroughly do pharmaceutical companies really check education?

Ok...well i was driving today on the righ lane, and then i signaled for the left and out of nowhere , this car comes and hits me in the back but he put on his breaks but he still hit me for some reason. WE pulled to the side. It was no major damage. Just paint job body work. Thats about it. He said i don't want to get you into alot of trouble because you are 19 and i understand life and stuff. I am closing on my house in 8 days, I spoke to my loan officer about buying a car and she said it would be fine after the initial approval and that it probably wouldn't show up on my credit report for 30-45 days anyways. Everything has been approved for the house, but I just checked my credit report and there it is after 18 days. Do mortgage companies usually check credit again after the initial approval??

We borrow money(billions) from China to help conduct warfare with other Countries(Iraq & Afganistan). We are always at odds with China. They dump on weaker people like Tibetans. China is a Communist Country and we are not suppose to like them(I guess). Simultaneously, and while our economy is down, we are going to give everyone 600-1200 dollars. Money from where? Is it borrowed? Does it become part of the National Debt? (Most of that money will go right back into the gas pumps to make the gouging oil companies more wealthy. They will spend more money going to and from shopping than they will actually shopping. So how in the hell does that boost the economy? Are we borrowing money or increasing the National Debt to benefit big oil?) We borrow money from China to conduct warfare, but we have enough money to give everyone 6 to 12 hundred dollars to "boost" the economy? Yeah, I know, I'm stupid. Can anyone enlighten me or do I need to take a couple of courses in economics? Kind of ironic too that the money is going to be given about the same time gas prices rise every year. Labor day and summer vacations. The was announced several months ago to give everyone plenty of time to plan their travel of course. It's just me, I know it is. Okk.... I am a lover of Herbal Essenses.. I just love their line of shampoo's. But i read on yahoo answers that somebody had posted that herbal essences could cause cancer. So this guy that I really like and I hung out in September and got coffee and then after we tried to hang out again but just talked online because we had opposite schedules because he played sports. This semster was much better because first he wanted me to come and meet his guy friends but I wasn't feeling well and the second time said that we should hang out more and called me out of the blue one night and made me dinner. He said he enjoyed my company too. Just recently we went out to a bar and some drunk girl hit on him and he looked uninterested and also became touch feely all of a sudden with me. his friend caled in the process and he said that he was with me but we might try to met up with them. After he invited me to his friend's apt. where there were all guys and they were really cool. I left and he said I should have stayed longer. I talked to him online the next day and he said thanks for coming to his friend's apt. and that he had a good time. What do you think this means?

I've been hearing about the EA B.S. (the "you have to pay for extra weapons" thing) but I really, really want this game and I really, really don't care about that cause they said it doesn't create an advantage or disadvantage. My PS3 is new but I'm not a fan of Sony and I only have one game for that while my 360 is almost 2 years old and already had the red ring. It still works but it freezes every once in a while when I play the Beta for Battlefield. So now I'm confused on whether to get it on the PS3 or the 360...help?

I am 15 years old, and I read or heard something that was like if you are 60 and under, and make less that a certain amount a year you don't have to pay taxes. I was three months pregnant when I got laif off from the real estate company that I worked for. Since then I have been claiming unemployment as well looking for full time and temp. jobs in the meantime becuase it seems no one wants to hire me. I am now 8 months pregnant and wondering if I will get any sort of disability pay through the state becuase I can not claim unemployment if I am unable to work. If so, when should I claim disability and switch from unemployment? And how long would it last? My doctor said she would be willing to sign something anytime from here on out explaining my disability, I just had to give her the word. I do live in California. also, I was not laid off becuase of my pregnancy... there was a large downsize (it is the real estate business) I had made it through about three downsizes and yes the first one while I was pregnant, I was gone, but so was almost every other person at my office. I don't believe I was laid off due to my condition, but I do believe I can't get hired due to it... though that is hard to prove because they can just say I didn't meet specific requirments or someone else fit the position better. I am not worried about work right now, because I have a baby coming within the next month and realize I wouldn't get any benefits from a job anyways, and who is willing to hire someone to imediatly put them on disability.

Frostwire and similar programs by design violate copyright laws. To a lesser degree, so does recording TV shows from the airwaves.. My cable company has threatened to disconnect my service for downloading excessive episodes of my favorite program, violating copyright laws. My job requires me to travel, and I have no one to record shows for me. Internet access is not always available, so I download them for future viewing during my brief periods at home, where I have the best connection. I'm not selling them, or making profit. Are there other ways short of buying the DVD set? I pay for cable, I dont want to have to buy the shows too. clolanth, can you give me additional details on regulations, where maybe frostwire can distribute the original shows with commercials, even though you could fast forward through them, the commercials would still be distributed, and thus still meet the copyright laws? BTW , my cable company received the complaint from other sources and was told to take action or action would be taken against them. They arent snooping, but ABC,CBS,NBC,FOX and many more are trying to enforce the currently unenforceable laws.< >
