New Block and Head, has a time chain from an famous Auto part store. somehow the block has enought compression to jump back and since the tensioner is on the left front side and the lack is on the right side the chain shift one link forward. Only thing to do is buy the timing chain from the dealer.

I have an 84 Suzuki 650 Tempter bike and seem to have moisture problems. At idle the bike seems fine but as soon as you put it under load it wants to spit and sputter and loose power. Compression tests are 135 and 125 per cylinder. I have drained a cap full of gasoline from each carburator float bowl but the problem still exists. Any more suggestions?

I have a power washer that has stopped running after introducing gas with water. I removed the tank and flushed it, blew out the fuel line, removed the carb, cleaned the bowl, blew out the and cleared all of the orifices and it still won't deliver gas. I can pour a small amount of gas on the air filter and it will start and run until that fuel is exhausted, so spark and compression are good. The float bowl o-ring was a bit large, but it is not leaking gas. Any help would be appreciated. The engine ran fine for a solid day before the water was introduced. When I remove the bowl, there is gas in it. I can keep the motor running by manually adding gas, but I have not pursued this for more than 1 minute or so. I will try to run it for a bit longer. Thanks to all for the quick responses. I have a needle air attachment. When I blew out the jets. I could see daylight through it so I am assuming it is clear Kept the motor running by dripping as on the air filter. Did this for about 5 minutes. Still no joy. Fuel is in the bowl, the ventury must be somehow screwed up. Any thoughts?

I replaced the Egr valve and sensor because i had two sensors with the three wires coming out of it melt all the way...so i was told its my valve and i got a knew one and it still ran like crap...and now i smell gas in the oil did i slip timeing or do i need a rebuild now? cuz no compression? compression rings are shot? this was just rebuilt last year too..

I must perform a compression test on my inline 6 4.9L. I know how but I can not find what the maximum result should be. I read that the lowest cylinder can not be any lower than 75% of the highest cylinder. But there must be a maximum and a minimum. I possibibly going to perform a leakdown test on the head too, whenever I purchase the testing tool.

Hi. I have recently loaded several ebooks onto my computer, but they take up a significant amount of space. Can i use a compression such as zip to reduce the space they take up? Is this what a zip file is? Can i then readily access them? Do i have to have a particular program to 'zip' a file? Is any data lost through 'zipping'? What are the pros and cons? Thanks.

OK, here goes. Tractor starts and runs fine for a while, but once it gets warmed up it'll take spells when it begins to run rough, but if I pull the choke slightly, restricting air intake it straightens up, (while the choke is engaged). I'll keep it running by doing this until the fit ends. (30 seconds or so) I especially see it when it's under a load. Since I've first noticed the problem, I've: Replaced the carb, replaced the distributor, plugs and wires, replaced the gas intake screen in the tank,and all fuel lines, draining the tank and putting in fresh gas, replaced the intake/exhaust gasket and checked for air leaks (wd40 spray test), checked compression, (within a few pounds on all cylinders, at around 110psi). Just yesterday I replaced the exhaust, checking and blowing out the muffler. Because engaging the choke straightens out the problem I've been thinking it's gotta be a fuel problem, but now I'm not so sure, could ignition issues cause this? (condenser? coil?) Went out Sunday morning and fired it up. She purred like a kitten. I only ran it for 5 minutes or so, but I'm sure that as soon as I start working it, she'll do it again.

These are low res movies from a low spec Olympus 4MB digital camera. I want to give the clips to someone without a computer. One lot is audio format PCM, video compression is PVMJPG data rate is 163kbps, frame rate10 frames/sec (not sure if need this info) The other lot is Quick Time movie. There are no instructions with the camera. I have tried simply copying to a CD and putting it in the DVD player - no good. Are there any free conversion programmes out there, or is there some method that doesn't need one? sorry, the first lot that i gave all the info about is the video clip.

I am an amateur cyclist (I probably ride for a couple hours a week). I just went on my first ride of the year (finally warm weather!) this morning and after I got back and was showering I noticed that a small region on the bottom of the head of my penis was very sore to the touch. There are, however, no visible signs of any problems. So my question is: could the combination of cycling + compression shorts have caused this? 4 hours later, it already is not quite as sore as it was at first. I am hoping it is this, although I am afraid it might be the first signs of genital herpes - I had an unfortunate drunken sexual encounter last week and have been paranoid about having caught an STD ever since. I have a lot of video files on my pc....Most of them are encoded using DIvX....I would like to know whats the best form of video compression out there that would alowe me to achieve the smallest file size...but without loss of quality....I dont mind even if its an encoding that can only be play'd using software on the pc....just little size....best quality.... Full tune up. oil, filter, wires, cap, rotor, exhaust manifold back. So me being me, I decide to mess with my car like always. Anyways, unhooked map sensor while running, car stumbles...idles out same way it has been, a little rough. I hook it back up and engine light is not on. I do check the code and I got the Map code. Good! rambling..... However I completely unhook the oxygen sensor from wire harness. No codes, and I am running very rich. Not alot of smoke, but 3 day old exhaust system ( manifold back ) is black inside end of tailpipe and bad fuel smell. Shouldn't the o2 sensor being unplugged set of a code for the CEL? I am starting to think this could be the problem. I also verified the map is good, got a good part from someone to check. Thermostat is working fine. Anything else... Also compression was even around 185 across.

I am creating an art portfolio in photoshop. My professor wants the 4 page portfolio saved as one .pdf file UNDER 1mb. Currently it is 103MB. How do I reduce the size of the file and keep a relatively good image quality. I have tried reducing the resolution and compression size before saving the files but, even though it greatly reduces the size, the file is still too big. Got any ideas?

it's not the O2 sensors, or the fuel pump, it has good compression, changed the plugs not the wires. I did get gas at Wal-Mart about 3 hours before this happened. The head is not cracked that I know of no water in the oil. Help Yes it's really me

mechanics have checked the thermostat-good, water pump-good, hoses-seem good, radiator- good, they think my head maybe cracked but i have compression in my engine. would my car even run if my head was gone. it seems like the water is evaporating. i'm about to put food coloring in my water tank to see if there is a leak. any advice is appreciated. it has a3.5l engine. 178650 miles and was sitting upfor about seven months comuter was bad. i had it fixed when i got it from my gandpa. and i just changed the power steering pump and my rack and pinion is shaky and needs to be replaced.

I sprained my ankle on the trampoline about a month ago, I was in so much pain, 30seconds after the sprain my ankle was the size of an orange, seriously. I went to the doctor 2 days later, when I came in the doc said for sure it was broken, they took three xrays and everything looked fine she said it was not broken just a severe sprain.. they said rest, ice, compression, elevation (rice). about 2 weeks later my swelling significantly went down but my whole ankle even my inside ankle, even by my toes were bruised, but it was very purple by on the outer part of my ankle. its been about a month no bruises, but there is a noticable difference as to which ankle was sprained, because my sprained ankle is still a bit swollen, its also very hard to run without feeling some pain.. should there be anything to worry about? is this natural?
