Honey, if there was a serious issue about Vitamin D deficiency in breastfed babies then we would have entire generations of people with rickets and poor bone development. This, as far as I am concerned, is just another ploy by Major Corporations, to sell more product. It's not harmful to give the vitamin and if baby or you gets no sunlight at all then it's a good thing but it's gotten way too much hype over the last few years. If you truly needed the supplements before hand they wouldn't have let you leave the hospital without them.
Check online to which fish has the lowest mercury. Some fish like swordfish or tuna has mercury, so you want to limit your intake. I love swordfish grilled on my little indoor grill. Serve with new potatoes boiled in chicken broth and California mix, steamed.
Or an orange roughy fillet would be good with lemon, butter and garlic over it and bake it. A nice rice pilaf and green beans to the side would be yummy.
Yeah, writing worthless insurance is a lot easier than translation eh?
Digital or film? what's your budget?
If film then you can get a good 35mm SLR, Nikon, Pentax or Canon.
If Digital there are some that are better than point and shoot but not as advanced as a DSLR like the Canon S5is that is quite comapct reasonably priced and very flexible. Or a low end DSLR like the Canon Rebel XTi

The rest is up to you.
1. DO policies are NOT standardized, so you'll have to check with a particular form. IN GENERAL, however, the policy only covers lawsuits related to your position as a director or officer AT YOUR CURRENT POSITION. So it's going to depend wildly on the exact wording of the suit. In any case, DEFENSE COSTS are the only thing covered - any JUDGEMENT is NOT going to be covered, if she's done something illegal on purpose.
2. lay out to your agent, EXACTLY what you're looking for. Again, it's not going to cover her PRIOR ACTS with a PREVIOUS EMPLOYER. The point is, to cover YOUR company, not to cover HER, or to cover her but only with respect to her position with YOUR COMPANY.
3. Usually with DO, defense costs are INSIDE THE LIMIT, and you have to use the insurance company's attorney. You have to put the company on notice, even BEFORE there is a claim. And on the application, there's a question: Are you aware of anything that could potentially result in a claim? And that's a really important question to answer, that would void coverage if you lie.

I'd like to start the violin, but I'm not very informed. Is there a difference between their sounds?
I tell my students to repeat this simple mantra after me, and to repeat it to themselves every time they get discouraged:
We have to be willing to sound bad before we can sound good!
This sounds cold and heartless on the face of things, but when you play the violin for a little while, you will understand. The Violin, like the Trombone, has no preset buttons to push down, or frets to guide you. Some teachers put tape where your fingers are supposed to go, and that helps a great deal, but it is only a guide.
Wherever you put your finger, you are going to get a specific sound. The closer you get to the correct note, the worse that sound is going to be! Until it is dead on perfect. When you first start out it's not so bad because the playing is not very accurate at all. Later, as you gain facility on the instrument, it is going to sound worse and worse as you get closer and closer to the exact pitches you are looking for, and then hit some of them but not others. Finally, your kinesthetic memory (muscle memory) will start coordinating with your hearing and your fingers will start adjusting to where they need to be to get the best sound. Eventually, you will be able to find the correct pitch whether the string is exactly in tune or not! That's when you know you've got it!
Every violin has a slightly (and I do mean slightly) different sound. That is why you want to try to buy yours in person if you can. Try several and choose the one that speaks to you. Don't just let someone play it for you either. Get in there and get your hands on the instrument. Take a friend along to help you out, but make sure that friend understands that you are going to make the final decision.
If you are talking about the difference between a Violin, Viola, Cello, and String Bass however, there is a more significant difference there. The violin has the highest sound and is the soprano of the string section. The Viola is the alto and has a deep rich sound, but it is easy to find a fuzziness in the Viola, especially in the smaller instruments. The cello (Tenor) has the same strings as the Viola, but one octave down. The vibrations are much wider and it is possible to actually feel them through your body as you play because of the increased contact as you play. You also bow differently and have to stretch your left hand more to play. The string Bass is tuned differently, in Perfect fourths (Here Comes the Bride interval) and is the Bass of the Strings. You pretty much have to stand up or perch on a stool to play this. Again, you have the wide vibrations and since you have a lot of contact with the instrument, (at least with the edge) you can feel them through your bone structure. This may not be what you had in mind, but I hope you found it interesting.
Whatever you decide, I hope you find your experience fulfilling and extremely rewarding. It may be best to start with a teacher who will allow you to try out several different instruments, or even accompany you to a shop where you can experiment with his or her guidance. After all, this isn't just a shopping trip, it's the beginning of a relationship and you should take at least as much care to pick out the right instrument as you do to pick out a close friend!
If you are planning on transferring to a 4-year institution then the D you received will not go with you. Transfer credit is for grades C or above, and only if the transfer school has the same course. You can not transfer a course to another college; if the college you want to go to does not offer a similar course.
YES for puff pastry, and NO for crescent roll dough.
The reason puff pastry puffs is because the several layers of butter between the pasty layers melt and create steam. The steam causes the layers to separate and viola! Puffed up pastry. As long as the dough isn't heated to the extent of being placed in an oven.. the butter will remain intact between the layers, and as long as it's kept chilly... will promise to rise another day, when you're ready :)
CRESCENT rolls, do NOT fair well after frozen. I thought I was being clever and economical once when I froze the extra dough that I didn't use... a day later, I decided I wanted pigs in a blanket, and was very disappointed when I found the dough slimy, unwieldy and oddly enough that wasn't enough to deter me from actually COOKING it... I found that it didn't puff up. Just remained flat, then burned.
Not sure why, but I'm guessing it is why they come pressure sealed in that tube.. once they've touched air.. its bake now, or forever remain flat.

Goutam has an excellent technical writeup, to simplify what he is saying though and to answer your question in more easily read wording. Celeron D processors are Intel's entry level processors, Pentium 4 processors are their mid level processors geared towards business applicational use, todays Intel Standard is the Core 2 Duo. If you compared two indentical equipped computers with the only exception being one was equipped with the best Celeron D processor, and the other was equipped with the lowest end Pentium 4 processor. The Pentium 4 computer would still out perform the Celeron computer running identical software. The same holds true with AMD, their entry level processor is the Sempron with the Althon 64 processor being their mainline processors used today.
If you are strictly limited in your computer market by budget, then perhaps a Celeron processor will fill your needs, but please compare all your choices in your price range. While perhaps you won't be able to afford the Core 2 Duo machine, for the same or maybe alittle more money, you might get an AMD Althon64 machine or a Pentium 4. If you compare the Pentium 4 to the Althon64, the Althon64 usually wins out for speed and price.
Try getting out in the sun for about 15 minutes a day, that should help.
If the coordinates of the point are (x0,y0) and the slope of the line is m (which we assume can be derived from the equation of the line once it is placed in the form y = mx + b), the two points are going to be on either side of the point (x0,y0). Incidentally, if the line is vertical, the answer is (x0, y0 - d) and (x0, y0 + d), so we can assume the line is not vertical and the slope is defined.
we know that the points will be of the form
(x0 - k, y0 - mk) and (x0 + k, y0 + mk). Since the distance from these points to (x0,y0) is d, we have
((k^2) + (mk)^2)^1/2 = d
k^2 + (mk)^2 = d^2
k^2 + (m^2 )(k^2) = d^2
k^2 (1 + m^2) = d^2
k^2 = d^2/(1 + m^2)
k = d/(1 + m^2)^1/2
So the two points are
(x0 + d/(1 + m^2)^1/2, y0 + md/(1 + m^2)^1/2)
AND
(x0 - d/(1 + m^2)^1/2, y0 - md/(1 + m^2)^1/2)
It's good that you know how to write electron configurations for the s and p subshells.
The easiest way I use to tell the n from a periodic table is to look at the period. The 1st period (H, He) have n=1, 2nd period elements (Li, Be, B, C, N, O, F, Ne) have n=2 and so on. The d and f sushells however, work differently. The d-subshell has n=n-1, so for Mn whose d subshell would have an n=4 (since it's in the 4th period) would actually have n=3. The f-subshell has n=n-2. Do you get this?
The way to tell if an atom is part of the s, p, d or sushell is to see which group it's in. Groups 1 2 are part of the s subshell, groups 3-12 are part of the d-subshell and groups 13-18 are part of the p-subshell. The atoms of the f-subshell have atomic numbers from 57-71 and 89-103.
So, for example the element Pr would have an electron configuration of: 1s2, 2s2, 2p6, 3s2, 3p6, 4s2, 3d10, 4p6, 5s2, 4d10, 5p6, 6s2, 4f3.
I hope this helps.
As the technology stands, I'd probably feel pretty dead.
If we were to perfect it, though, I doubt that I'd wake up feeling refreshed or healthy in any sense of the word. In order to prevent ice crystal formation, the cryonic technicians have to perfuse (i.e. replace your blood) your body with a special solution. Unfortunately, that solution is toxic. Reviving a person would involve thawing them out, but also re-infusing the patient with fresh blood before tissue death started to occur.
Even with 'antifreeze' perfusion, there would still probably be widespread cell death. Even if the technology were refined to the point where this effect wasn't fatal, your body would still have a lot of healing and regenerating to do (and would have to clear out the trace remains of the toxic 'antifreeze') before getting back too normal.
In all likelihood, I'd wake up from the process confused and disoriented (probably with some memory loss), achy and weak.
The higher the number, the better the efficiency: i.e. more lift, less drag. Read about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lift-to-drag_ratio
I wouldn't take any amount of money for it- I guess I am more vain than I thought!! Even if I could get a million dollars, I wouldn't.
But my husband says he'd do it for $300K and that if someone offered me a million for that he'd insist I do it - lol :)
The way I make them:
Make an egg wash (2 eggs and a little milk) like you are making french toast.
Heat your frying pan to medium and put some butter in the pan.
Dip a slice of bread in the egg wash, put it in the pan
Put some ham and Swiss Cheese on the bread and cover with another dipped piece of bread.
Brown the sandwich up nicely.
Put it on a plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Enjoy!
Yummy!!! Now, I want to make some for me! :)
