    Cleaned out an iTunes folder. Now trying to delete two of the folders in my Recycle Bin and when I do I get: "Can't remove folder Df7. Directory not empty..." There are two folders in there and when I try to delete the other one, it says the same thing but calls the folder Df6. I googled this and got various answers - even tried them, but none of them worked.... Help! Thanks

    I need help adding a custom map in the game star wars battlefront. the instructions are... "Extract Trench1.zip to the AddOn folder in the Battlefront directory. eg: C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront\GameData\AddOn and the trench1 folder goes straight in there." But the addon folder is not there! where should it go?

    I am on a wired Ethernet network and would like to copy one file to the C: directory on all the computers on the network simultaneously. I have no idea how to do this. There is a network drive set up as G:\ and I don't want to have to go to every computer and copy it onto them individually from the G:\ drive. Is there a way it can be done from a computer on the network? Look, I don't want to have to go around to each of the 100+ PC's and copy and run the script on each one individually, it would take hours. I want a script or program that will copy a vbscript file to every single computer on this network and run it on each one. My script will add a line to the login script on each computer to start up an antivirus program.

    I am trying ton install Helios Linux on my Ps3, I already have gotten to the screen with the kboot: message. But when I try to input the prompt it says there is not such directory. I have already formatted my HDD, and installed the other OS bootloader. I am trying to follow directions from this website: http://www.helios.de/support/ps3_install.phtml#HELIOS_installation Another message I found interesting is that it says that there is no partition, but when I formatted my Ps3 I created a partition, I alloted 10 Gb to my PS3 and I don't know have to create a separate partition. Any help would be apreciated. Specially if you have done this process your self. I have also trid installing Yellow Dog Linux, but I couldn't install that one either. I am putting my bootloader and OS image on the same DVD-R, do I need to have the separate? In the instructions on the website, it say I don't but Idk. Sorry this is so long, but I really need help. Maybe you could just tell me how to set up my DVDR Ok, I have tried to install Yellow Dog Linux again. I get the message "No Partition found (1)" and then I have the kboot prompt again. Should I burn the DVD at a slower speed???? Please Help

    I do a lot of "Save Image As" online, and unless I am in the same web browser where I had already changed it once, it tries to save the files to my documents/my pictures or something like that. Is there any way to change this so that it goes to like, c:\images automatically without me having to browse up to the image directory every time? Thanks in advance.

    I`ve created and added a test HTML files (HelloWorld.html) to the C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache2.2\htdocs\ directory. I can locate and open it the said directory using my text editing program (HTML-Kit). However, according to Windows Vista OS those files dont appear when i browse the directory (either with through the OS or through the browser window). I have just installed Apache from the binary Installer file and HAVEN`t changed anything in any of the default files. Apache can open the test "IT WORKS" message in the index.html file just fine. It`s just my new file it seems oblivious to. What the heck is going on?

    My ipod nano (2nd gen) kept asking me to restore it. After I did and everything should have started working, it would have me to do it again. The Apple people on the phone weren't really helpful. I don't know how much of what they were telling me was applicable to me (non-Apple/Windows user). After restoring it successfully, the Apple genius stated that there are likely incomplete/fragmented (something along those lines. don't remember exact word) files in the directory. He recommended Disc Warrior which I've now found works only for Apple. I also don't want to give them my money without making sure that it was the problem and that I'd exhausted my free options before forking over money for something that may not actually be the problem. How do I fix this? Do you know of any free programs that could do this? I have Ad Aware and SpyBot but they don't seem to do this. How do I fix this? I've googled.

    I used the boolprop cheat to spawn a wishing well. And I chose "wish romance" or something like that. A man appeared and we fell in love. But then he left, and I cannot call him because he does not have a phone. I tried shift-clicking the mailbox and inviting over the entire neighborhood... but he wasn't there. But he IS in the college directory, and is still a contact. How can I get him to at least come over so I can add him to the family?

    received this error on trying to boot windows windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: c:\windows\system32\config\system I tried last known config. did not work, got into recovery console however cannot change directory to windows it says there is no cd or floppy disk in the drive, when I try running chkdsk it says this drive has one or more unrecoverable errors, I ran disk tests on it and all tests passed saying the harddrive is okay, I tried creating a tmp directory but it says access is denied....I'm an entry level computer tech but cant seem to find a way around this problem without formatting, any help would be awesome.... I have tried running the xp disk, when I run repair it goes directly into recovery console and thats where im stuck at now

    whenever i move files from my phone(SE W880i) to my pc(via cable), the phone automatically tries to copy mp3 from my directory. there are .ind files and .xml files in my phone's memory stick but i did not delete them yet. they may be the ones causing my phone to resume some sort of command i may have initiated previously. moving my mp3s in my pc to a different folder/directory(to possibly prevent my phone from looking there) is not an option since i have always had that specific folder in that location. and i would rather find out what is causing this. thanks.

    My story is rather long so I will make it real brief. I had a crush on this girl in high school that I knew. Since High school, I found her email address and we communicated but only as friends. Then things happened in my life (non-related) and I lost contact w/ her. This was about 5 years ago. So I tried to find her and I did. But I only found a home address. No ph.,no email. The home addr. is actually an apartment complex. Med-Lrg complex. I tried to find her name on the directory to see if she lives there but the directory at the front gate wasn't working. I actually don't want to see her in person as it might be very weird. I want to write her a letter first. But I don't know if really currenlty resides there and if she does, I don't know her apartment number in order to mail her a letter. Is that public information?     Next week I am gonna have to start building a small network for my school (seven desktop computers, one server), running Linux. We want to have a somewhat centralized network, where you can log into your profile on any computer, and your documents/settings are all there. Exactly like roaming profiles on a windows active directory server. Is it possible to do something like this. If so, what would be the easiest way? The server would be the one used to hold the profiles and settings and that. We already have a dedicated router, so the server will not be running anything else. Also, the teacher I am building this for prefers Ubuntu for the desktops. I don't think the system running on the server will matter as much, but it must have a GUI.

    I'm running a bunch of anti virus and spyware and rootkit etc. programs on my laptop (i recently got hit by a virus that generated over 500 viruses, i had to wipe out a ton of directories and reinstall windows xp pro...). Anyways, there is this virus that the program says it is deleting; it says something like "rootkit tricore/trace" and it says that it is deleting it but after reboot and rescan it pops up again... Any suggestions?

    On searching google, what was prominent is the AVS video tool but it?s just a trial download? so no thanks. What I recommend is the one that can be found http://www2.mnx.jp/~dle871/ It?s a software in Japanese It turns out guessing what buttons to press was much easier than the other suggested methods to convert VRO to VOB. To use this, open the exe in the zip file. Then there is no need to fill in the two text fields in the opening window. Just press button with a label ?T?. There are two browse buttons. The one at the top is intuitively for picking the source file. The one at the bottom is for picking the destination directory. After choosing source and destination, press the button ?G?. Then, you?re done! Cool. Check out the vob files in the destination directory. After that use DVD Shrink to compress. Freeware. Nero or other to Burn DVD I spent two days looking for the solution. Thanks to silverfork of wordpress. Posted so you guys can save time

    she is around 2 years old. she is a pointer http://www.nextdaypets.com/directory/breeds/images/1100205.jpg and an american bulldog http://www.sanderskennels.com/American%20Bulldogs/06-11-06%20222copy%20american%20bul ldog.jpg mix. she is only around 70 pounds, but she has absolutely no fat on her. we have a choker for her, and the owners are buying a prong collar. anyway, i have tried ceasar's way, ive done it with pits, collies, shepherds, a bunch of dogs, she is the only one that doesnt do it. she is obedient, i am the boss. her ears are down and her tail is down when she sees me, but when we walk her, she lunges, and pulls and everything. when she sees another dog, she barks at it, she always wants to play, so she isnt aggressive. we have tried a shock collar, but she ignores it, now. what should i do to make her less tired? my neighbor has 3 small kids, and im basically the only one that can walk her. i make her pull me on my skateboard, but i go too fast. im hooking her up t to my bike tomorrow, should that tire her out a little more? me and my sister go to the park every day for about an hour and a half everyday, and she pulls my sis on her board up and down hills, but it seems like she never gets tired. and the nearest dog park and agility park is 70 miles away. so my question is, what can i do to make her tired faster?? thank you everybody!!! oh btw, i dont mind walking her for a few hours a day, its just that since its winter still, its not daylight for very long. thanks!

    Where can I find this file: mpcbodte.ocx? I've searched everywhere but it has been imposible for me to find it. If you have it in your \Windows\* directory, would you please send it to my mail? Or if you know where is it, please, tell me. Thanks for your help! :) This is a clean Windows Installation, and the file isn't anywhere in windows directory (if the files (file) were in the windows CD I would have already copied it from there).     Hi i was just reading about purityscan (because i have it) on Mcafee and it says this: This program is detected as a "potentially unwanted application". The program searches for pornographic files on the user's machine and contains the option to delete the files found. On executing, a EULA is presented and user chooses to install the program. The file winservs.exe is then added to the Start menu/Programs/StartUp folder in the windows directory. i wanted to know if that is true (if purityscan scans for pornographic files). And i also wanted to know because my Mcafee detected purityscan and when i go to search for it on "Search Results" i type in: C:\Documents and Settings\HP_Owner\ Local Settings\Temp\yazzsnet.exe and it wont let me go to it. How can i remove this? And what Mcafee says about it true?

    I have been trying to free my iPhone using ibrickr. When I plug my iPhone in ibrickr asks me if I would like to free my phone, I clicked yes. Then it asks me to download firmware 1.0.2. Then it tells me to copy the firmware I just download into the ibrickr directory. The thing is, I don't know where the ibrickr directory is. Can someone help me?< >
