I used to have this sheet of paper that said the benefits veterans were entitled to on top of monetary benefits--such as discounts on park permits and hunting and fishing licenses. I was curious if there were any PDFs or lists on the internet that had this information? I tried to google this document or anything related to it, and only found something specific for the state of California. I'm looking for something specific to the state of Washington, where I live. Or do you know the benefits entitled to a 50% disabled veteran in the state of Washington (aside from monetary)?

my recruiter made a document saying that i went to a public school even though i was homeschooled,cus the army would not accept anything my school sent since they could not tell them when i was to graduate considering its a self-paced and its all four years of high school in one program (22.5 credits).so he said he could fix the problem..next thing i know i am at meps and i see that i am a senior (which i consider my self since i will graduate most likely at the end of this summer if not early fall) at a public school.2 days after meps i find the paper stating that i go to this school with the guidance counselor's and my signature on it.i have already gone through meps..no problems already did some rsp drills no problems..i am just worried about my security clearence (becoming an mp)also when my diploma is different from my HS document saying i am a senior in a public school.should i tell?or does it not really matter?will they check the diploma and the school when i go to basic? i am just worried that i might get a dishonorable discharge or go to prison over it.will that happen if i don't tell...and what will happen if i do tell? i am relieved to hear that...i also had a history of going to counseling and i was told to not say anything about it [anger issues when younger due to family divorce and remarriage (4-11 now 17)].i never took any meds or anything it was just one of those sessions where u would sit down one on one with your counselor and talk about your feelings and how everything was going.thats was it...now i am a hard worker well liked at my job have alot of friends,no criminal record's nor have i used drugs nor drank any alcohol .how and will they find out at my security clearance interview that also includes basic. my recruiter told me not to cus they have to look through those records and if they misinterpret anything in the wrong way it could lead to me being disqualified from enlisting.

I spent the weekend with my boyfriend (who I have only been with for 2 months), and he left his Internet and computer connected. I normally don't snoop around, but for some reason I decided to look in his recycle bin. In it, I saw a document titled "the first letter to my wife." I thought it was a letter to me because we often joke about being married, so I restored it and read it. I was totally wrong. I forgot to mention that he's Indian, which is important in this case. In it he was writing to his potential arranged wife. He has never mentioned this to me. It was dated back in November of 2007 and we met in late January of this year. I don't feel that he has lied to me about anything and I am already well known within his family, but just having the knowledge of it is eating me up inside. Should I confront him about it, or just forget about it and continue to convince myself that it is no big deal? I know I shouldn't have been snooping, so it's my fault...but please help? I appreciate the responses so far. Just know, this is something that I would never really think of doing; I just saw it there and my curiosity took over. And I do trust him, although my actions may counter that statement.

Whenever I try to import a certain song into windows move maker it says this. C:\Documents and Settings\Taelor\My Documents\LimeWire\Saved\11 Your Guardian Angel.mp3 could not be imported. I phoned Ditech yesterday to apply for a 1st mortgage on my home. Paid for-clear. I was told that, "For a small fee charged to my credit card he would lock in the rate." He did not tell me how much the fee was. He did tell me that if I cancelled the application I would be obligated to this fee. I asked him how many days I had to cancel and was told that as long as the appraiser did not come out I would not have to pay. When I received the E-Kit documents for me to sign I now find out it is $500.00. I did not sign any documents!!!! Am I still obligated to this fee if I choose to go with another lender. I feel so stupid because this is my very first mortgage. What can I do???

Okay, I try to release my project (I'm new to this) and it says it's out of date and I get one error. I am running a windows applications, with buttons on it, and I get that one error that won't let me release it fully. here is a quote from it... My employer is based in MA and I live in another state. I drive a company car. They are asking for a copy of my personal vehicle liability limits and proof that my plates are registered. Has any ever heard of this? It doesn't seem needed to me as these documents pertain to my personal vehicle only and don't affect my company vehicle. I don't want to provide them with my personal documents if they don't need them. Are there any special requirements in MA that would cause this? I know the auto laws are different in MA and since they are based there, I wondered if that had something to do with it. Thanks!

I have Windows Vista and I am still getting used to all of the new functions/arrangements of the Microsoft Word program. I downloaded a document from my gmail account but only clicked open instead of save. I began working on the downloaded document and then closed it when I was ready to shut down my computer. I clicked the "save" button numerous times but never actually named the file. It showed at the top filename[1].doc or something to that effect. Is there any way that I can recover this document? Surely it saved somewhere? Any help would be appreciated. I have already checked in my auto-recover folder.

Ok so back in 2000 I financed a honda 4wheeler. I missed 2 payments and it was repoed..... I quit paying all togther after it was taken and then like in 2005 I started paying agn to clear it up on my report. I stopped paying when I read up on The Fair Credit Act. Now they have called numerous times lately and I told them that I wanted proof of all the original documents pertaining to the 4wheeler or I wont pay anymore. Now my question is "Under the Fair Credit Act" Dont they HAVE to produce these documents if Ive asked for them , also if they cant provide the proof, dont they HAVE to clear it from my Credit report?? PS This is 8 years old. hell yeh im tryin to get out of it,. im not paying for something that someone else has! and for the record it was a Credit Card that they issued me for the purchase

Sorry if that question title doesn't exactly make sense, but do MOST professors/teachers in English, when typing any document, excluding the works cited, require you to to space twice after a period? Just curious because my current English teacher has us does this. I want to know if this is a preference or...her trying to find more ways to grade us down. Hmm, okay. should i take it in to the store to get those burn spots off of it??? the main buttons from the bottom of the screen are also loose, i have a one year manufacturers warranty that came with the phone, should i take it in to a store to see if i can get that fix, or is it no big a deal??? I moved into my new apartment in March 2008. The building is not new and I live in the basement. Judging from the various give-aways one can tell that it was never really intended to be an apartment. I like it but certain things concern me. I was away for a week and found that the window behind my fridge was leaking rain water onto the wooden sill. At the top of the window frame there is a clearly visible structural steel beam and cinderblock. The ceiling above the fridge itself is crumbling, and shows signs of previous water damage. The list I made of things wrong with the apartment when I moved in also has yet to be corrected. The landlord said he'd get someone in the morning I paid my last rent but I've seen no evidence supporting his promise. I wish to document the issues and write a letter that will effectively get my landlord down here to address and fix these problems and I do not want to be charged for them when I move out. This is my 1st apartment, how do I proceed?

Help. We went to buy a car & signed the buyers order & the dealer also signed it. We also signed the Conditional sale & delivery agreement. We had told the sales guy we were not decided about finance options - but he said we had to sign these documents & later we could discuss our options with the finance people. Later, the finance guy gave us a high rate of interest so we told him we'd like to use our own pre-approved loan. He did a turn-around & told us that the price agreed to is conditional on us financing with them & that's what they understood! This was a lie! we had told them repeatedly we do not want to make any finance committments. So we walked out. Now we are worried if they can say that we have to buy the car from them and is it legally binding on us? Thanks for the prompt replies. Want to add here that we're in Texas. We did not pay them anything for it & didnt take delivery either. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also, we cannot buy from someone else now, coz we're worried about this. Well, new update - spoke to the dealer who said that's it's only preliminary paperwork & we can buy elsewhere - but we can go back & do the deal with them with our own finance. Do we trust them & go ahead or find another dealer?

Let's say I have a large block of text in a Microsoft Word document. This text is written entirely in capital letters. Is there a way I can highlight the text and then press a button in one of the drop-down lists to make all the text lowercase? What button would that be? How would I do this? Thanks. I'm not expecting anyone to be able to help to be honest, but any attempts are more than welcome. I'm in the UK, it's 01:30 in the morning, and I've just finished my Physics Case Study in for tomorrow (as in "it's being sent to the examining board" in). I got the original file earlier off my school website by logging in and going to My Docs. I had about 1 and a 1/2 pages done. I've worked my ass off for the last 6 hours to finish it, about 10 and a 1/2 pages, saving regularly (but not "save as" to a particular area, just hitting the little floppy disk button in the top left of MS Word) and closed the document. I went to email it to my PS teacher, and while trying to add an attachment realised I hadn't saved the file to my own computer, and the changes I made weren't saved to the "My Docs" section of my login on the school site either - I think I've lost the file, and if I have, I'm all kinds of screwed. Does anyone at all know where files like this get saved to? Please help!

As I understand it, there is nothing in US law that forbids a former President from serving as a Vice President. To Hillary, the benefit would be clear. After announcing Bill as her preferred VP, all of the questions about her experience will go away, because as a team, the experience is well documented. Admittedly, my knowledge of the law in this area is limited, and if there is a law prohibiting this option, I apologize in advance for wasting the time of those who choose to answer.

I've never left the US and have not had a passport since I was 12 so I just renewed my green card about a year and 1/2 ago and NIS printed my maiden name on it. It will cost about another $200.00 plus dollars to have them correct their mistake and print it with my legal married name. That being said can I go on vacation to Puerto Rico with every document I have to verify my license in my married name and green card in my maiden name .

I am 14. I need a new laptop. My current one is very, very worn out. It is a used PC i've had since my 11th birthday. I have used MACs before, and I like them better. It also helps that there are less viruses written for MACs. But are MACs compatible with everything? If i got an email attachment that was a Word document, could I open it? And could i put files from my current laptop onto a flash drive and transfer them to a MAC? I will mostly be using a laptop for personal use and schoolwork. I make videos and i edit pictures. Since I'm going to highschool next year, I will also write reports. I know MACs are much more advanced, but are they compatible? so.. MAC or PC?< >
