    How is f(x) = 2x^(2/3) different from f(x) = ³?(2x^2)? Isn't it true that x^(1/3) = ³?(x)? I entered f(x) = 2x^(2/3) and f(x) = ³?(2x^2) on my graphics calulator and it came out as different graphs

    Welllllll I really want Guitar Hero 3, i looove gh lol and so i want it, but i dont have any gaming systems so im thinknig either xbox360, wii or ps2. Im leaning more towards ps2 or the xbox260 because the wii has the different controler, and im lazzzy, if i get other ggames i cant just sit and game. ps2 would be the cheapest which is good but i dont know if oy ucan get rock band for that, which i also want to get eventually. i hear that xbox360 is the best, liek graphics and it has lots of games, sooo im not sure!

    The Motherboard, Graphics Card and RAM are all SLI compatible. I am using Vista Home Premium as the OS, and when I run the Performance Information and Tool section in the Control panel, my Basic Score is 5.2. My component scores are, Processor: 5.9, Memory RAM: 5.2, Graphics: 5.9, Gaming graphics: 5.9, Primary hard drive: 5.7 so therefore, my Memory RAM is lowering the overall score. My RAM is, OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 / 800MHz 4GB RAM (2x2048) Kit 5-4-4-15 - OCZ2N800SR4GK. I was wondering why my Memory RAM scores are the lowest at 5.2, I thought they would be one of the higher scores? as they are of the better quality pieces of RAM available to buy. Also, in System Information, it shows that my Total Physical Memory is only 3,325.75 MB, Available Physical Memory 2.04 GB, Total Virtual Memory 6.67 GB, Available Virtual Memory 5.58. Why does Vista's System Information, not show the 4 GB installed, and why is my component score for my Memory RAM only 5.2?

    OK i installed the catalyst control center and i turned up all the graphics and had it do t he overdrive test so it gets it right on what it can handle. Well i noticed i have to turn down the graphics proccessor status so it wont keep making my screen go black then come back and do it over and over. i got it to the point where it wont do it but now my games run slower. it tests it but it puts it to high and where it goes to black screen and back while playing a game like unreal tournament 3. what can i do to make this better? overclocking? I need help and i want to get the most out of my system.

    I'm currently a junior in HS and really like computers. I really know a lot about them and want to do something with them for a living. Only problem - I really don't like programming. I've taken a Javaclass and really didn't enjoy it. Spending hours and hours researching, it seems like you need to know your programming to get a good computer related degree, and to get a job. I know a lot about hardware, software and how they're related. I definitely know all the basics, plus a lot more. I like computer graphics, I'm pretty good working with illustrator/photoshop. I just don't know what to study. I'm looking at all sorts of colleges, but really don't know which one to choose, because I don't know what to major in. I really want to use my knowledge of computers to benefit me in my future career, and really want to work with them, but also I'd like to do something maybe with advertising/design/business management/entertainment, something alonh those lines. Any ideas/help? thanks thanks for the answer.... I just don't want to go into a major, and then not enjoy it, and waste my time/money... do you kind of see what I'm saying? I would like to do some computer engineering, really anything along those lines... Is it even possible to graduate with a computer science degree without dealing with programming?

    Just don't wonder I am a girl who likes strategic games very much .. I 've finished all the missions of "Age of Mythology", "Age of empires" and "War craft reign of Chaos". I was finishing "Empire earth" , but my little brother erased my saved missions :( tell me about you , and recommend for me new strategic medevil games to download them . I want them with high quality graphics pls :D I've finished other games as "Mafia" , but I lean more to strategic games.

    I think the 3D graphics are somehow causing the problem. I haven't been doing anything else graphics intensive lately. Also, The fan on the graphics card is a bit noisy (GeForce 6200.) my nvidia bios fan doesnt work at all. Other than that, i have no idea. I tried Second life on two different OS's so I don't think it is install related. What I'd like to know is how to diagnose the problem since the PC freezes, so no error/crash log is generated. System requirements are fine. I have: 2 GB RAM 2.2 GHz AMD Athlon64 10 GB HDD free space at least and the graphics card is a Gigabyte / nVidia GeForce6200. Also, it will freeze other times, but I can't remember specifically the other times since they are rare. I just know that those two apps will reproduce the problem in 5 to 30 minutes consistently, depending on how hard I'm using it

    Do you wear shirts with small graphics on them, or do you consider that to be "too young"?     I have a Tube TV - kinda old. I want to get a PS3 but im thinking a flatscreen would look so much better on a PS3 rather than a tube. If you want to experience the PS3's full graphics, a flat screen LCD TV would be the choice to go. If not, you might aswell get a Wii (My dad wants one but cant find a Wii so he wants a ps3) because the Wii doesnt give off the graphics like a PS3 does (Dont say it does because it doesnt) - thats what i think. Should i get a flat screen TV for the PS3? Or would it still give off the same realistic look on a Tube TV? i124q - If you dont know then why the hell did u answer? What a moron.     I have a very good computer i built. dual core, 3 gigs, 8800 gts. My compute rfreezes every so often and doesn tpost sometimes after i reboot. I thought it was the 2 512s i added, but its not, being that i took them out, and 4 hours later, it still froze. It usually freezes for 5 seconds, and works perfeectly again. My graphics look fine. But when it freezes, the keyboard caps button light doesn tturn on, and that points to the hdd/motherboad? My processor seems to be fine. And i dont think its my memory anymore, becuse the freezes started after i added the extra 1 gig. What else could be wrong?!! my hdd doesnt exhibit any scratching sounds that a bad hdd would. HELP! I scan with mcaffee/avg and adaware every other day, so its not a virus

    It worked fine before playing games but then I got a virus, so I had to reinstall Windows. It couldn't reinstall windows, it said "Hard Drives" not detected. I took it to Geek Squad, even they don't know what to do. Any hints as to what is going on? The motherboard is new, the graphics card is new...everything should be fine unless I got a faulty product.

    I bought a laptop recently and i believe it has 883 mb of my 2gigs of ram allocated to the 8400gs graphics card. It has 128mb of dedicated memory and therefore i want it to run off that alone. How do i reduce the allowance of memory for the card? Also, because it has 883 mb allocated, does that mean im running vista on just 1 gig? Thanks

    I am starting a games site called galaxygamehouse.com and I need a few graphics for it, very simple ones that wouldn't take much time (hopefully?) I need a UFO cartoon, very small, that will be in various places on the site, probably only 50x50 px max, but it will need to be a .gif with a transparent background, no shadows or anything, so that it will look good on any colored background. Would anyone be willing to do this for me? I would be oh so appreciative :) Thanks in advance! Oh, and i'd like it to be colorful, not just a little gray ufo.     Okay.. i have a Xbox 360 plugged into the 3 color thing (white, red, yellow) plugged into my TV card on my pc and i can get it to come up on the TV program i am using, however the graphics are horiffic its extreamly blury and fuzzy i can see stuff but after seeing it on a normal TV it looks horrible. PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE can someone help me!!!!! if its anyhelp at all i use cyberlink power cinema to veiw my TV 360 stuff and i have a ASUS P7131 Hybrid TV card.     Can Someone reccomend a case which has good air cooling and also is large enough to add lots of components in and is Less than £90 (give or take a few pounds) Main things needing cooling are 1 HDD (possibly add another in the future) 1 8800gt (OCed) Graphics card (May do SLI with two in the future) Q6600 CPU (going to OC) Im using Asus P5N32-E SLI nVidia 680I mobo I MAY add a water cooling system to it in the future so one set for that would be helpfl to.     i know this is very long, but please read it and tell me what i could add and take out. The assignment is to do a compare and contrast essay to the Kite Runner to the movie. If you see any spelling errros, or ways to improve my essay that would be great! thanks! ?The Kite Runner? by Khaled Hosseini is the first book written in English by an Afghan author. The movie is directed by Marc Forster and produced by William Horberg. ?The Kite Runner? is about Amir and a Hazara boy named Hassan. As these two boys grow older, Hassan is discriminated against and raped. Amir who witness it all becomes disgusted and moves on in his life. Later when Amir starts his new life in America, guilt starts to eat him and he sets off to Afghanistan once again to find Hassan. Both, the book and movie were exceptional. But obviously, a movie can never beat the book, but even so in this case, I believe that the filmmakers were still true to the book and heritage. The filmmakers did a very good job of accurately portraying the book so some credit must be given. But the movie was about two hours long and the filmmakers crammed as much book material in the movie as they could. Some similarities between the book and the movie were that the movie had all the main ideas of the book. For example, a main idea in the story was the kite tournaments. The movie had these included and included very good images and graphics. It seemed like they put a lot of time in this portion of the movie. Another main idea was that the movie told the audience that Amir and Hassan were half brothers, and that Hassan was the son of Amir?s father. Another similarity was the descriptions of the characters in the book vs. the actors playing that character in the move. For instance, Rahim Khan. Rahim in the book was a caring uncle who didn?t care if Amir became a writer or a doctor. He just wanted whatever would make Amir happy, unlike Amir?s father. In the movie this was also followed. Rahim Khan was kind and considerate, and gave Amir a book to write his stories in (a detail which is also in the book). Unlike many other books vs. their movies, the characters in this movie stayed honest to their characters in the book. Because the book was so good, and the movie didn?t leave out many things it made both the book and movie exceptional and remarkable. Although all main ideas and important events from the story were taken in account in the movie, there were some things that were not added. These things did not affect the movie too much. Some things that were left out were details such as Sohrab?s suicide attempts, Hassan?s gypsy mother, Embassy issues, and Soraya?s grief due to Sohrab. These details didn?t affect the storyline too much, but if they were there they would make the movie just as good. To go into more detail, Sohrab was the son of Hassan who is later found out that he was killed by the Taliban. Sohrab hardly says a word because he is so physically and mentally scarred because of Asef, the bully who used Sohrab as a sex toy. In the book, Sohrab committed suicide twice. But in the movie it was not shown or even talked about, same with the embassy issues. Amir and Soraya decide to adopt Sohrab, who is also Amir?s nephew. When they adopt in the book it is more realistic because they have some problems with the Embassy and adoption papers. In the book it is a little bit unrealistic because they just put Sohrab on a plane with Amir to head back from Afghanistan to America, with no issues or problems. The filmmakers expect the audience to fill in the blank spots of the movie. Also the movie does not talk anything about Hassan?s mother. If someone in the audience had not read the book before watching the movie, that one scene in the movie would have been very confusing because no word is spoken about Hassan?s mother. In the book Hosseini tells the reader that Hassan?s mother was a gypsy and ran away after giving birth to Hassan, leaving Hassan?s father to raise him. This leads me to another difference. In the book Hassan is hair-lipped and in his 12th birthday, Amir?s dad pays for Hassan to have surgery to get rid of the hair-lip. In the movie this is not even told or shown, not even is Hassan?s birthday shown. So even though some of these details were missed in the movie, it was still amazing and very tragic. In conclusion, ?The Kite Runner? by Khaled Hoissein and the movie produced by Marc Forester are both amazing. While the book had more detail and description, the movie brought the images alive and made it harder to accept, because it was so sad. All in all, the filmmakers were defiantly true to the book. sry identation didnt work as good

    ok I just got the VTP 8.0 and so far, it has worked great! The graphics are not the best, but I am not complaining. Anyways, a little thing that I was excited about, was the 3D flip effect. But when I downloaded it and pressed. Windows+Tab key, nothing happened. Now my question is, how/can I turn on the 3D flip effect using this VTP 8.0? Also, can I turn on the glass effect too?< >
