Compare Online Movie Rental sites at idvdrentals.com. Blockbuster and Netflix are the best.
CinemaNow and Vongo offer instant-viewing rental, but I don't think they have rentals through the mail. I'd recommend Netflix. I have the 3 at a time plan. They have a wide selection and fast shipping. I tried Blockbuster, but found their shipping to be quite a bit slower. Netflix does have some movies available for instant viewing (i.e you watch instantly on your PC). However, for the most part, I prefer to watch movies on my TV instead of my computer monitor, which isn't really that big.
Try http://www.eztakes.com/ It seems to be a good site.
Cinema Now offers some of its rentals in streaming format. Some you download too. Pretty standard rental rates of $2-5.
You can search for the term find the list of movies.

All of the major rental places will be able to help you out
I would suggest that you write a business plan. I would start by checking out SCORE at http://www.score.org and finding a counselor in the office closest to you. The counseling is free and they are very good.
Also entrepreneur magazine has a series of manuals that are geared to starting up businesses and perhaps there is one that is for a business that is close to a movie rental business and your local library may have a subscription to these.
I would also check: http://www.ychange.com/small-business-consulting-articles.html
and read some of the business articles geared to starting up a business.
netflix or blockbuster
i don't know any pay per view ones but www.movies-on-demand.tv is free and they have alot of the newest movies, and the quality is great
Movie rental stores are losing ground to pirated movies and illegal downloaded movies and LEGAL downloaded movies and rental-by-mail like Netflix. I wouldn't want to be a video store owner right now. About the only place you can still do a good business is in rural areas where high-speed Internet is not available and mail is slow.
I think this is what you're looking for

Good luck!
I just read an article yesterday about Netflix having the hardest time competing against Blockbuster in the online rental market. Blockbuster has lower fees that Netflix struggles to match-- not to mention the instant trading at local stores. Things look pretty bleak for Netflix and if you were to try to break into the online rental market, you'd probably only rent to friends and family. There's no space in the market for another company. You can't possibly compete with Blockbuster or the well known, yet struggling Netflix. In short, starting a rental company is a bad idea and you should really consider investing in something else.
14.
how good is the netflix movie rental, is there any cheeper site's that offer movies for less price?
I've been using netflix for little over a year, and it's worked great for me.
Netflix is great for DVD's. Great prices (you can choose from different price packages) and they also have a free 2 week trial, fast/reliable service, and it gives you lists of movie recommendations and new releases. I don't think they have Playstation though.

Movie Rentals only work with the current generation iPods...So iPod Nano 3G, iPod Shuffle, iPod Classic 80 GB or 160 GB, iPod Touch, or iPhone.
You have an iPod Video (based on the 30GB)...I'm sorry =(. I wish it weren't so either.
EDIT: The reasoning is because it's easier to copy the movie from a 5G iPod (as in record...which obviously since it's a rental you're NOT supposed to do) than it is from an iPod Classic or iPod Touch or iPod Nano.
iTunes offers that as well.

Movielink also.
