    I look in the oven and they are perfect. Ten mins after turning it off they're flat!! I thought it was maybe from me opening the oven door once its off (for seconds only - just time to tap the top of it to ensure its firm) so I didnt open the door tonight and was gonna leave teh pavlova in the oven overnight. I looked in a wee while ago (without opening the door) & the flippin thing is flat! Help!?!?????

    I just read the featured article that puts chicken caesar salads among the top ten bad-for-you "healthy" foods. I've been eating grilled chicken salads my whole life and never thought them to be unhealthy. Is there anything i could do to change this, such as changing the dressing I use?

    How to give a cat a pill How to Give A Cat a Pill............ 1) Pick cat up and cradle it in the crook of your left arm as if holding a baby. Position right forefinger and thumb on either side of cat's mouth and gently apply pressure to cheeks while holding pill in right hand. As cat opens mouth pop pill into mouth. Allow cat to close mouth and swallow. 2) Retrieve pill from floor and cat from behind sofa. Cradle cat in left arm and repeat process. 3) Retrieve cat from bedroom, and throw soggy pill away. 4) Take new pill from foil wrap, cradle cat in left arm holding rear paws tightly with left hand. Force jaws open and push pill to back of mouth with right forefinger. Hold mouth shut for a count of ten. 5) Retrieve pill from goldfish bowl and cat from top of wardrobe. Call spouse from garden. 6) Kneel on floor with cat wedged firmly between knees, hold front and rear paws. Ignore low growls emitted by cat. Get spouse to hold head firmly with one hand while forcing wooden ruler into mouth. Drop pill down ruler and rub cat's throat vigorously. 7) Retrieve cat from curtain rail, get another pill from foil wrap. Make note to buy new ruler and repair curtains. Take last pill from foil-wrap. 13) Tie the little *******'s front paws to rear paws with garden twine and bind tightly to leg of dining table, find heavy duty pruning gloves from shed. Push pill into mouth followed by large piece of fillet steak. Be rough about it. Hold head vertically and pour 2 pints of water down throat to wash pill down. 14) Consume remainder of Scotch. Get spouse to drive you to the emergency room, sit quietly while doctor stitches fingers and forearm and removes pill remnants from right eye. Call furniture shop on way home to order new table. 15) Arrange for RSPCA to collect mutant cat from hell and ring local pet shop to see if they have any hamsters. If you cannot keep your eyes or hands off of my daughter's body, I will remove them. Rule Three I am aware that it is considered fashionable for boys of your age to wear theirs trousers so loosely that they appear to be falling off their hips. Please don't take this as an insult, but you and all of your friends are complete idiots. Still, I want to be fair and open minded about this issue, so I propose this compromise: you may come to the door with your underwear showing and your pants ten sizes too big, and I will not object. However, in order to ensure that your clothes do not, in fact, come off during the course of your date with my daughter, I will take my electric nail gun and fasten your trousers securely in place to your waist. Rule Four I'm sure that you've been told that in today's world, sex without utilizing a "barrier method" of some kind can kill you. I may appear to be a potbellied, balding, middle-aged, dimwitted has-been. But on issues relating to my daughter, I am the all-knowing, merciless commander of your universe. If I ask you where you are going and with whom, you have one chance to tell me the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. I have a shotgun, a shovel, and five acres behind the house. Do not trifle with me. Rule Ten Be afraid. Be very afraid. It takes very little for me to mistake the sound of your car in the driveway for a chopper coming in over a rice paddy outside of Hanoi. When my Agent Orange starts acting up, the voices in my head frequently tell me to clean the guns as I wait for you to bring my daughter home. As soon as you pull into the driveway you should exit your car with both hands in plain sight.     Ok, the deal is, Im 5 months pregnant and me and my partner have been on and off ever since i conceived, it just never seems like me and him are working out and at one point we actually split and didnt talk for about a month. Now we are back together (i thought id give it another try for the sake of my baby) and things have been going alright for the past couple days, but today we went shopping for a few baby things & he was in the worst mood!.. It was like dragging a 2year old around the shops TIMES TEN! He was really great with buying a few things, but just wouldnt stop whining about it, & he made me feel guilty for letting him buy things. On top of that he was being really rude to me all day, making sly comments about my skin (Ive had some terrible breakouts during this pregnancy), acused me of calling his sister names when i didnt say anything about her at all! and he was just plain moody & embaressing the WHOLE day (didnt smile once & kept giving people dirty looks for no reason) ..He didnt even help me carry the heavy bags inside. And it is his younger sisters birthday dinner tonight and he didnt invite me!!- Just had the nerve to tell me about it and who was going. ANYWAY, now i feel guilty for wanting to have nothing to do with him, after he has just spent money on baby things. But i just cant cope with his immaturity and all this stress!!! So, my question is, what do you think of this situation? Is it wrong to leave him now? I know i shouldnt feel obliged to stay with him just because he has bought a few small things, but it just seems wrong to leave now.. Like im using him for his money.. Which im definitely not! -I know he will look at it like i just used him for his money.

EDIT Don, a car is an investment of sorts. Who buys a car without thinking about how much you will get back out of it when you want to trade it in? The only time resale doesnt matter to a buyer is if they are going to drive the car until it dies. How many people buy a car with that intention? Not very many.
