Your Podscope hit is at 50:16 Seven Steps to Success as a free-lancer and understanding the post-production world of tomorrow - plus, an extra heaping of Pick Our Brains - all in one incredible show! We celebrate Thanksgiving in the US this year with a show dedicated to helping your business grow, prosper, and plan for the future. We start with Andy Budd, Web-designer, Developer, and co-founder of Clearleft, an expert web designer and business consultant who will help demystify some of the techniques that drive success. Digital production, post-production and distribution are very competitive and creative endeavors. From his headquarters in Brighton, England, Andy will explain the seven key attributes that make for a successful free-lance career. Then, we have an extended "Pick Our Brains" - mainly because we have an extensive list of questions and never enough time to get them all answered. Tonight, we're gonna try. Then, it's a flash cut from England to Australia - when we say we cover the world of digital production, we're not just blowing smoke - where John Hollands built his very successful career as editor and post-production supervisor. Since he knows the industry so well, we're going to ask John to help predict the future of digital post-production. Then, we wrap everything up with an in-depth look at a topic of the week. This week, we'll be discussing the whole issue of upgrades.
